Fire Pit Build
5' Dia. x 20" tall x 5" thick
I took a large section of a manhole that is 5" thick of concrete and cut it into a small ring. I cut small notches out of the bottom to allow air to flow as well as for water to easily flow out. I then lined the interior of the ring with firebricks for added protection from the heat cracking the concrete. On the outside I put faux rock with mortar and sealed them with a concrete sealer. I now have a gorgeous fire pit in my backyard.
